Forgiveness

(Condensed excerpts under "Confess The Word" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C pages 26-29):
Romans 10:9 – "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

The above Scripture is the beginning of our eternal destiny with God. When we declare openly that Jesus is our Lord, and we choose to believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, the Bible promises we are saved. ‘Saved’ means we are instantaneously translated from the devil’s domain into God’s everlasting Kingdom. Once we voice the following prayer, the Bible promises that our sins are forgiven and our eternal destiny has changed from hell to heaven. Simple but miraculous.

Forgiveness Prayer:  Dear God – According to Romans 10:9, I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. Therefore, Your Word promises that I am now saved from the power of the devil and’ born again’ by Your Spirit. Father God, I ask You to forgive me of all my sins through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Please change me, from the inside out, so that I will live to honor You. I rejoice that I am now forgiven, set free, and guaranteed to go to Heaven when I die. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
1 John 1:9 – "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Once we officially enter into the family of God, through the Romans 10:9 prayer above, one of the best ways to stay pure before God is to daily declare 1 John 1:9. God sent His Son, Jesus, for a multitude of reasons - including our freedom from the gripping guilt and bloodthirsty bondage of sin. His desire is for us to let go of our sin through the honesty of our words and our heart. As we daily confess our sins, according to the above verse, God forgives us and cleanses us, based on His Son, Jesus’ blood sacrifice, two thousand years ago. God’s desire is that we turn from sin and turn toward Him. Last but not least, as we break free from the past that has imprisoned us, God’s love compels us to forgive our self.

Forgiveness Prayer:  Father God – I thank You for Your Scriptural promise to forgive me in 1 John 1:9...that as I confess my sins (be specific):________________, You are faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord, I honor Your Son’s Blood sacrifice and ask you to free me from all my sin, guilt, and unwillingness to forgive. Please compel me with Your love to forgive others and completely forgive myself. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Luke 6:37 (Jesus speaking) – "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."

This verse has the power to set you free…don’t judge, don’t condemn and always forgive. Easier said than done, but if you make a faith decision to implement these three actions, your life will be forever changed. Forgiveness is twofold: First of all, we must purpose to ask God to forgive us for what we have wrongfully committed against others. Secondly, we must purpose to forgive the wrongful and hurtful actions committed against us by others. We forgive by faith, not by feeling. Every day, ask your Heavenly Father to forgive you for every wrongful word, thought, desire, and action you have committed against others, and express to Him your genuine commitment to continually forgive those who have hurt you through every wrongful word, thought, desire, and action. God will forgive you, cleanse you, and fill you with His peace.

Forgiveness Prayer:  Heavenly Father - According to Luke 6:37 (Jesus speaking) – "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Father, I ask You to completely remove from me all unfair judgment, critical condemnation, and my unwillingness to forgive. Father, please forgive me for all my wrongful words, thoughts, desires and actions that I have committed against (be specific): _______________. Right now, I purpose to forgive, by faith, all those who have committed wrongful and hurtful words, thoughts, desires and actions against me, including (be specific): _____________. I praise You for forgiving me, cleansing me, and filling me with Your peace, from this second on. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Protection

(Condensed excerpts under "Angels" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C – pages 116-118):
Psalm 91:11 – "For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways."

Typically, our number one concern is protection. One of the most serious phobias is fear of death. There is nothing in all eternity that can even begin to compare to the protection of God that is available to you and your family. As this Scripture promises, one of the many ways God offers us protection is through His charge of angels to accompany, defend, and preserve us in all our ways.

Protection Prayer:  Heavenly Father – According to Psalm 91:11, You shall give Your angels charge over me and my loved ones, to keep us in all our ways. Lord – I thank You for all Your angels that protect, guard, guide and preserve me in all my ways. I reject all fear, including the fear of death, and receive instead Your angelic protection wherever I go and whatever I do, from this second on. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Psalm 34:7 – "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them."

The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for angel is "a supernatural messenger commissioned by the Lord to protect God’s people." The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for encamp is "to pitch a tent." Fearing God means to stand in awe, to respect and honor Him above all else. The good news is that when we place God in the highest place of honor, He promises that His angels will pitch a tent of divine protection around us and our loved ones.

Protection Prayer:  Lord – As Psalm 34:7 promises, I am eternally thankful that the angel of the Lord encamps all around my family and me...as we fear (or honor) You. My faith declares that as I place You in the highest position of honor in my life, You release Your angels on my behalf. I cannot stop thanking You for your angels who continually ‘pitch a tent’ of divine protection around me and my loved ones – as well as deliver us from all danger. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Psalm 103:20 – "Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His Word."

Angels excel as they perform God’s Word. Take note that angels strengthen, or as this Scripture indicates, excel in strength, as they hear our voice speak God’s Word. They exist to act on behalf of those who voice God’s Word. When we speak God’s Word with our mouth and with faith in our heart, God’s angels go where we go. As we speak God’s Word over our children and loved ones, angels go where they go.

Protection Prayer: As Psalm 103:20 declares, I bless You, Lord, with Your angels, who excel in strength, who do Your word, heeding the voice of Your word. I rejoice that as I speak specific Scriptural prayers daily, Your angels that You have assigned to me, excel in strength as they hear my voice. Lord, I thank You that Your glorious angels strengthen and act on my behalf to minister Your perfect will in Your perfect timing. Therefore, I take my God-given authority to dispatch hundreds of millions of warring angels to protect, guard, guide, defend, encamp around, bless, direct, and prosper _______________ every minute of every day and night, from this second on. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Healing

(Condensed excerpts under "Health" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C – pages 49-53):
3 John 2 – "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers."

God’s will for you is His Word. In other words, if you are wondering what God’s will is for your own life, open up the Bible and read. As this Scripture so beautifully communicates, God’s highest desire is that you prosper in every single area of your life – including physical health. This Scripture communicates that the Lord wishes above all things that you prosper financially, physically, and in your soul (mind, will, intellect, and emotions). Please understand that God’s one hundred percent will is for you to be healed, healthy, and whole. Why not go all the way in faith? – All you have to do is ask His help, voice healing Scriptures (such as this page) daily, and believe that He alone is the Ultimate Physician. He is waiting for you to agree with what He has already spoken through the Bible.

Healing Prayer:  My Lord God – According to 3 John 2, I rejoice that You wish above all things that I prosper in every single area of my life, including physical health. My faith declares that I believe with my whole heart that it is Your one hundred percent will for me and ______________ to be healed, healthy, and whole. Infuse my faith with Your Word. Place in me a desire to never stop speaking Your Word. I ask You to bless my Doctors, but I honor You as my Ultimate Physician. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Isaiah 53:4 – "Surely He (Jesus) has borne our griefs…"

The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for borne is "removed, erased, or taken away." It means to have already been carried away. The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for griefs is "sickness or malady" (defined as illness or disease of the body or mind). Therefore, the literal interpretation of the above Scripture is that Jesus Christ, through His tortuous death and miraculous resurrection, has already removed, erased, and carried away from us all physical sickness of the body and mind. It has already been accomplished for us two thousand years ago on the Cross. Enter into a "faith fight" for health and healing in your body and mind. Make a decision to believe what God says, and receive it as your personal package of promise, by faith. Again, just believe and leave the timing up to God.

Healing Prayer:  My Heavenly Father – According to Isaiah 53:4, I (desire to) believe with my whole heart and decree with my faith words that surely, Jesus has borne my griefs... Increase my faith to believe that through Jesus’ tortuous death and miraculous resurrection, He has already removed, erased and carried away from me and ________________ all physical sickness of our body and mind. Increase my motivation and faith to just believe what Your Word promises me over what the Doctor’s report may be. Again, I bless my Doctors but I have decided to enter into a "faith fight" for health and healing in my body and mind. I have officially made a decision to believe what God says in His Word, regardless of my (our) symptoms. Lord – I believe and purpose to leave the timing up to You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Isaiah 53:5 – "And by His (Jesus’) stripes, we are healed."

Oftentimes, we think of the Cross as the place where Jesus paid the penalty for sin so we can escape Hell and enter Heaven someday. If that were all He accomplished, it would be absolutely more than enough. When God literally raised Jesus from death two thousand years ago, He permanently defeated the devil. Please understand that whether you believe it or not, Satan (the devil) is real and he is fighting to steal your health and well-being through sickness and a Heaven-less death. However, what Jesus carried to completion on the Cross is infinitely more than we can fathom. The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for healed is "thoroughly, made whole." This Scripture emphatically reveals that Jesus was tortuously whipped or "striped," so that we can be thoroughly healed and made whole. Just embrace Jesus as your Lord (refer to the Forgiveness page), be in agreement with the Bible by voicing healing Scriptures daily, and leave the timing up to God.

Healing Prayer: My Lord God –I rejoice that Isaiah 53:5 promises, that by Jesus’ stripes, I am healed. Please continue to reveal to me the profound understanding that there is a Heaven with Jesus and a Hell with Satan. I choose Heaven with Jesus. Because of my decision to embrace Jesus as my Lord, I am free to daily declare all healing Scriptures, including the above: "By Jesus’ stripes, I am healed"... until my healing and wholeness manifest. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Wisdom

(Condensed excerpts under "Wisdom" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C – pages 101-104):
Proverbs 4:7 – "Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding."

Basically, principal means the primary thing. Wisdom is one of the primary layers within the foundation of our life. There are two kinds of wisdom: the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of the Word. The full wisdom of God includes both the intellectual and academically educated mind, combined with the spiritually and Scripturally educated heart. The way God desires us to access His natural and supernatural wisdom is through His Word, by the understanding of His Spirit. The emphasis of this Scripture is to get or seek the wisdom of God above all else. Pray for God’s perfect knowledge before anything you endeavor to do, so that you can operate in His power and understanding, not your own.

Wisdom Prayer:  Heavenly Father – As Proverbs 4:7 teaches me, wisdom is the principal thing; therefore I must get wisdom. And in all my getting, I must get understanding. Regardless of any situation I encounter, I determine to diligently seek Your wisdom, God, above all else. I pray to pursue Your perfect knowledge before and during anything I endeavor to do. Please fill me with Your perception, power and understanding in the following situation(s): _______________. Lord, continually teach me to apply the perfect wisdom of Your Word through the words of my mouth. My heartfelt desire is to seek You first. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Hosea 4:6 – "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for destroyed is "to utterly fail, to be cut off." This Scripture is referring to God’s people, those who are born again, or saved by His Son’s Blood. The crucial point of this verse, however, is that without the knowledge and wisdom of the Bible, even God’s children may utterly fail. Please understand that God’s children (born again believers) will go to Heaven when they die, but without the wisdom of the Word and how to apply it, they may still experience a defeated life.

Wisdom Prayer:  Lord – As You warn in Hosea 4:6 – Your people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. My heart’s desire is that I will never be a person who is destroyed for lack of Your knowledge. Fill me with a deep desire for the Holy Scriptures. As I read and study Your Word, please quicken my understanding by Your Spirit. Father, I long for You and Your wisdom, above all. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
James 1:5 – "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given him."

How do we go about getting specific wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual understanding from the Most High God? We must ask Him. When an unexpected issue, problem, or crisis occurs in our life, it is imperative that we go to God first. According to this Scripture, we must ask the Lord for His wisdom before we seek the world’s wisdom.

Wisdom Prayer: Father God - As James 1:5 promises, if I lack wisdom, let me ask of You first. Please place in me, from this second on, an all-consuming desire to daily seek Your perfect counsel and specific wisdom first. Therefore, I come before Your throne right now, Father, and ask for Your perfect wisdom and direction in the following situation(s): ______________. Reveal Your perfect knowledge and lead me to Your perfect answer. Place me in Your perfect path, point me to Your perfect purpose, and fill me with Your perfect peace as I await Your step-by-step instruction. I thirst for Your natural and spiritual wisdom as I embrace You, as Lord. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Guidance

(Condensed excerpts under "Guide" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C pages 138-141):
John 16:3 – "However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth…"

The Spirit of truth is the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. As this verse indicates, the Holy Spirit guides us into the perfect truth of God in all circumstances. If we yield to the Lord and ask His guidance daily, He will continually lead us to His perfect solution. He is the God of all truth because He knows our future. All we have to do is honor His Lordship and ask for His guidance.

Guidance Prayer:  Lord God – According to John 16:13, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide me into all truth. By faith, I yield to Your Lordship and honor the Holy Spirit as my Guide. Father, because I believe You know my future, I ask Your perfect guidance in the following situation(s):_________________. I purpose to wait for Your step-by-step instruction. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Psalm 32:8(God speaking) – "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."

The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for guide is "to advise, to counsel, to consult." As this Scripture conveys, the Holy Spirit, our Guide, will instruct and teach us in God’s way. All we have to do is yield our hearts and lives to Jesus, and God promises to advise and counsel us with His eye.

Guidance Prayer:  Father – As Psalm 32:8 promises, You instruct me and teach me in the way I should go; You will guide me with Your Eye. I yield my heart and life to Jesus Christ. Lord, I desire Your guidance, teaching, and instruction, especially in the following situation(s):________________. Please advise me, step by step, into the perfect way of God. I await Your direction as You guide with Your Eye. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Psalm 48:14 – "For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death."

This Scripture reveals the infinite Presence of God. The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for guide, in this particular verse, is "to drive forth, lead, carry away, to proceed, brought in." May our Heavenly Father drive us and our families into His divine destiny. May our Lord Jesus carry us away into God’s perfect purpose. May the Holy Spirit proceed at full speed in our lives to bring us into God’s absolute best.

Guidance Prayer: Lord God - As Psalm 48:14 declares, You are my God forever and ever; You will be my Guide even to death. I surrender to You my life and all my issues, including ________________. Please ‘drive’ my family and me into Your divine destiny, ‘carry us away’ into Your perfect purpose and ‘proceed’ at full speed in our lives. I honor You as my ultimate Guide, as my faith waits expectantly for Your exact instruction to Your perfect solution. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Guidance

(Condensed excerpts under "Peace" from Power Parenting Easy as A,B,C page 80-82):
Isaiah 26:3 – "You (God) will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

The English definition for peace is "quiet, calm, still, tranquil, untroubled." This peace is highly sought after by most of humanity. Unfortunately, although the world loves the concept of peace, this undisturbed state of being cannot exist in the world without the Lord. The Hebrew (Biblical) definition for peace, in this particular verse, is "health, prosperity, wellness, safety, completeness." ‘Bible peace’ is far more expansive and complete than the world’s perspective of peace. God Almighty is the only One Who can keep us in perfect peace when our minds, thoughts, and emotions are centered on Him. When we make a decision to trust God and to rely entirely on His Word, His peace overtakes us, regardless of what we are going through.

Peace Prayer:  Lord God – According to Isaiah 26:3, You will keep me in perfect peace as my mind is stayed on You, because I trust in You. Father, please help me to continually keep my mind, thoughts, and emotions centered on You. My deep desire is to dwell in Your physical, emotional, mental, financial and spiritual peace. Fill me to overflowing with Your Presence, as I have made a faith decision to trust You completely. I praise You for Your permanent peace that is overtaking me now and always, regardless of what trials I face. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Philippians 4:7 – "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

The authentic peace of God is a guard. All people experience trials and tribulations, as well as the challenge of difficult decisions. In life, there are many stressful situations and choices we must make without the full natural knowledge required. It is imperative that we go to the throne of God first, asking Him for His specific wisdom. Then, we must wait for His direction. The way to know if you are hearing His Voice correctly is His abiding peace, which passes all understanding…for it will literally guard your heart and mind. God’s peace will always keep you in the "eye of the storm."

Peace Prayer:  Father – According to Philippians 4:7, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. My life craves the authentic peace of God. I release all my stress, anxiety, worry, and fear to You, O Lord, and receive Your tranquility instead. Thank You for guarding my heart and mind with Your undeniable peace, and for loving me in the midst of my confusion. Please forgive me for trying to understand everything, when all I need is You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Psalms 34:14 – "Seek peace and pursue it."

The English definition for seek is to "desire or search after."The way to seek peace is to ‘desire’ Jesus and to ‘search after’ His Word. The world’s peace does not last, but the peace of God is permanent. A powerful way to seek peace is to speak God’s Word. As we voice specific Scriptures in faith, God’s Spirit activates God’s Word, which produces God’s peace. An unimaginable peace overtakes those who desire and seek after the Author of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Peace Prayer: My Lord – As Psalm 34:14 instructs, I purpose to seek peace and pursue it. I yearn for Your permanent peace to saturate my insecurity. Flood me with the undeniable peace and purpose of Christ, as I seek You daily. My heart desires to pursue Your peaceable answers to my every need. Allow me to soak in Your Presence for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
